Approach

As a psychologist, Dr. Wolf strives to help parents and caregivers understand the factors that come together to impact their child's development. Her evaluations aim to provide a comprehensive learning profile in order to clarify the nature of a child's strengths and challenges, come up with a clear plan to help them reach their goals, and, ultimately, feel better about themselves as students and people.  She recognizes that each child is a unique being and aims to capture an accurate picture of your child as a whole person and learner-- and not just a set of numbers. Her evaluations are comprehensive, individualized, and accessible.

It is also important to Dr. Wolf that parents understand the results and that their child receives the support they require to access their academic environment. She works hard to integrate both practical and research-based recommendations. When working directly with children and adolescents, she aims to create a validating and empowering space to better understand their unique set of strengths and challenges, develop practical and accessible tools to help them get through their day, and discuss how to best advocate for what they need.

As a parent herself, Dr. Wolf understands the difficulties parents face when making decisions that impact their children’s future, especially if they are experiencing barriers to their social, emotional, and/or academic success. She is with you every step of the way to advocate for what your child needs and also does all of her own test administration, scoring, and report writing.

In addition to training in neuropsychological assessment, Dr. Wolf received formal training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is also formally trained in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), which is considered the "gold standard" as part of the assessment for autism spectrum disorders.
