About

Dr. Amie Wolf is a South Carolina and New York State licensed clinical psychologist. She specializes in neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessment, as well as evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and young adults. She has expertise in the assessment and treatment of individuals with learning, attention, autism spectrum, nonverbal learning, and other developmental disorders, as well as social and emotional challenges. She also conducts evaluations and appeals for adults seeking accommodations on high stakes standardized testing (i.e., ACT/SAT, MCAT, LSAT) and in higher education.

Throughout her career, Dr. Wolf has provided evaluations, therapy, consultation services, and crisis intervention to individuals in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practice, residential treatment, foster care, and schools. These experiences contribute to her unique perspective and expertise when working with families, as she is able to formulate accessible, up-to-date, and science-backed solutions based on her clinical experience. She completed her APA-accredited internship at a residential treatment center in New York for children and adolescents with severe mental health diagnoses, as well as complex trauma. There, she provided evidence-based therapy, crisis intervention, group therapy, and psychological assessment. After her internship, she completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology. She continued on to become a supervising psychologist. She also works closely with top special education lawyers to ensure individuals receive the accommodations they require and has co-authored peer reviewed papers. Prior to her move to Charleston, Dr. Wolf served as an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University in New York City where she taught graduate students how to assess learning disabilities.
